Star Gladiator Build MVP

This build focuses in a big party. Star Gladiator is a job MADE FOR Party. So, keep this in mind after reading this guide (specialy because the lack of VIT).

STATS (Lvl. 99 / 50)
STR 97+33
INT 14+10
AGI 1+24
DEX 66+16
VIT 10+0
LUK 66+0

Note: Including Blessing y Agi.

EQUIP
+10 Book/Elemental Book [2x Abyss - 1x Elemental / Racial].
+7 Magni's Cap.
+7 Odin's Blessing [Pest / Demon Pungus / Peco Peco / Any card].
+7 Stone Buckler [Hodremlin / Alice / Racial Reduction / Any card].
+4/+7 Skin of Ventus [Raydric / any card].
+7 Shackles.
Bloodied Shackle Ball.
Ring [Mantis].
Sunglasses [Vanberk].
Gangster Scarf / Anything.

Shield can have a Hodremlin Card for normal MvP, and in this way you have an all around Shield. If you want, you can have Racial Stone Bucklers and switch them depending of the MvP. If the MvP have MvP or Miniboss summons (for example Satan) Stone Buckler with Alice Card is your best choice.
Armor depends basically on MvP Summons. If the MvP have normal summons, you can use any card in order to stop it (for example Sasquatch, Demon Pungus, Pest). If the MvP summon is Miniboss, this cards have no effect, so is a better choice if you give an element to your armor, (for example Dokebi, Pasana, etcetera) or a Peco Peco for an all around Armor.
Keep in mind that this is only an example of MvP Build.

WHY THIS SKILLS?

Running: This Skill can help you A LOT while leveling, because it's give you +10 de STR if you are not wearing a weapon In addition this skill can help you in order to maximize damage from your Kicks.

Prepare Whirlwind Kick / Whirlwind Kick: I chose this kick because it can do area damage, so it's really useful. While you are killing some MvP you can be kicking it too , so an area kick is maybe the best kick for you (it will deal damage not only to the MvP, also to it's summons). If you don't like this kick, you can include any other kick in this build, but only ONE kick is included in this build.

Flying Side Kick: It's included in this build not only because Break Fall. It's included because this kick let you go closer to MvP in an easy way. In addition, this skill can help you if you need to escape from it by kicking near monsters.

Break Fall: Evasive Skill and really useful. Is a MUST in ANY Taekwon Class Build.

Paceful Rest / Enjoyable Rest: Not really useful. It's there because it's needed for a better skill.

Fighting Chant: A MUST. Let's you have Warm Wind and improves Warmth damage depending of the size of the party (more members, more damage). This is the REAL reason why Star Gladiators are MADE FOR PARTY.

Warm Wind: ANOTHER MUST. It's endow your book with any element. The element that you are gonna use depends of the MvP.

High Jump: Useful skill. Helps you a lot when looking for some MvP by letting you jump cliffs or walls. Can also be useful in order to escape from monsters.

Feeling of the Sun, Moon and Stars: Design a map as map of the Sun, Moon or Stars (Lvl.1: Sun / Lvl.2: Moon / Lvl.3: Stars). You can only have one of each "Map of" (one "Map of the Sun", one "Map of the Moon" and one "Map of Stars"). It's really important to know which MvP are gonna kill cause each Warmth can only be used in it's map (for example, Warmth of Sun will be only usable in Map of Sun).

Warmth of Sun / Moon / Stars: This skill can be used ANY day, but only in it's map. Example: Warmth of the Sun will be only usable in the "Map of the Sun". It's the real source of damage, it's what will kill the MvP.

Comfort of the Sun: Grants DEF (VIT DEF) bonus. You can only used in "Map of the Sun" at "Day of the Sun". This skill is not at Level 4 because it really don't worth it.

Comfort of the Moon: Same limitation than Confort of the Sun, only usable in "Map of the Moon" at "Day of the Moon". It grants a Flee Bonus.

Comfort of the Stars: Same limitations tha the others Comforts but it grants an ASPD Bonus.

Hatred of the Sun, Moon and Stars: This skill let you mark a mob (have some limitations not explained here).

Anger of the Sun / Moon / Stars: This skill grants a damage bonus (LUK and DEX based) to monsters marked. This way is the best in order to improve your Wrath damage.

Knowledge of the Sun, Moon and Stars: Grant a Weight Limit bonus in your maps when you LOGIN IN IT. This is really useful (keep in mind that you will need a LOT of SP items).

Union of the Sun, Moon and Stars: Only usable while Linked. Makes you Fly and grants a Movement Speed bonus. In addition, your damage will ignore DEF and will never miss, BUT every time you hit you will lose 2% HP.

CONCEPT

Warmth deals damage and pushes monster 2 cells back. This happens if the monster is a NORMAL monster. Everybody knows that MvP cannot been pushed back, so this skill will deal damage constantly. This means that MvP will be hit by your warmth once every 0.1 segundos (190 ASPD). This means, if the Warmth deals 4k damage, MvP will recieve 40k damage per second.
Beacause you only can have one of each map, you must be wise and choice correctly your maps and you must mark the MvP in order to maximize your damage dealt to it. For example, if you decide to kill Valkyrias, the map where they spam must be marked as "Map of the Stars" and Valkyries must be marked as "Target of the Stars" (because they are Large Size).
In other words, your Star Gladiator will be specialy useful to kill only ONE MvP per size (this doesn't mean that it can't kill any other MvP, it means that you will be really powerful against ONE Small Sized MvP, ONE Medium Sized MvP and ONE Large Sized MvP). There are only 4 Large Sized MvP that really worth to kill using a Star Gladiator: Ifrit, Satan Morroc, Beelzebub and Valkyrie.
Maybe the best options for "Map of the Sun" are Odin_Tem03 because of Skeggiold (Odin's Blessing, Rune of Darkness, Divine Cross, Soft Feather, Card), Mjolnir_04 because of Mistress (OCA, Young Twig, Card) and Abbey03 because of Bedlzebub (while it's a bee, it's Small Size, obviusly this means that that map will be also marked as "Map of Stars", beacuse when it uses Metamorphosis it becomes Large Size).
Star Gladiators are not the best MvP soloer, keep that in mind. This Job is REALLY GREAT in BIG Parties, where Fighting Chant can improve your ATK REALLY A LOT and where your SP cosumption and resistence are easier because of Devotion, Heal and Soul Change, for example.

This is the end of this guide. Sorry, as you can see, my English is not what it used to be.

Equips,
+x Feather Beret
Fin Helm/ Slotted Sunnglasses w/ Nightmare card, Sleep Immunity
Iron Cain
+x Silk Robe w/ Marc Card (freeze immunity) / Evil Druid Card (freeze and stone curse immunity, but heal and buffs wont work on you)
+10 Katana w/ 2 Orc skeleton card & 2 desert wolf cards OR 3 Orc skeleton card & 1 Desert wolf card, dmg is same in any combo..
+x Wool Scarf w/ raydric card and a substitue Marse card, so that storm gust from wiz does least damage.
+x TIdal shoes w/ Matyr (10% HP) or Verit Card (+8% HP and SP)
Accessory 1: Ring w/ mantis or Vesper core 2
Accessory 2: Ring w/ Smokie (hide skill), Ring w/ Alligator (5% ranged atk resistance), switch as per situation.

Consumable items which should be carried, amount can be changed depending on the duration on WoE.
Honey +100, if you get dispelled by Professors,
Royal Jelly +100,
Aloe Leaflets +100,
Authoritative Badge +30, if u enter a quagmire or some priest/high priest uses decreases your agility
Beserk Potions +20, same as above
Cursed water +20, so that you weapons element changes to dark which is good against Holy property.

Strategy I:
Use parry and endure, so that you can run down to the emperium faster, get some buffs from priest.
Once you are near the emp, use 2h quicken, aura blade, concentration, parry, cursed water and beserk, and start hitting the emp. If you see a professor nearby, then dont use zerk, cuz if he/she dispells after u hav beserkd you are dead meat. So let some1 kill it 1st.
Dont try to solo, always be with your guild mates. If you see a wizard nearby, get ready to switch to Wool Scarf w/ marse, cuz they will storm gust, and this skill takes a lot of damage.

Strategy II:
Remember how I told to keep sword mastery at lvl 10, and not to invest in any offensive spear skills, well here is the substitute strategy which I recommend the most.
The weapon should be changed now to either a +10 Blade w/ same card combo as Katana, or +7 Saber with 2 orc skeleton card and 1 desert wolf card. In the other hand, you can use a +x Valkyrja's shield with thara frog card or if there are many hunters/sniper, than a substitute to a Horn card.
One requirement is you need a Soul Linker in your guild, so that you get linked which can help you to use one hand quicken skill. If the server provides dual clienting, that make one soul linker for yourself. Just watch out for dispell. Once you get the requirements, you can use this strategy, which is more enchanced than the Katana Strategy because you get chance to equip a shield which gives you more defence.

Final Tip: Have a creator in your guild who can use full chemical protection(FCP) so that stalkers can't strip you.

I would love to see some suggestions.

Thank you for taking your time to read this guide.

How To Get Zeny Guide

0.1: Introduction

Zeny is what runs a server; its value increases and decreases depending on what's available and how frequently. When rare items become too available, the value of Zeny drops; likewise, when these items become scarce, their price inflates, and Zeny becomes more useful.

In order to buy items and gear from NPCs and players, Zeny is a must-have resource. Luckily, there are many different approaches to harvesting Zeny, and there are quite a few classes that can help you achieve money-related goals you set. In all scenarios, however, perseverance is key, as well as patience and the ability to mindlessly perform the same tasks repetively and effectively.

Note that it is absolutely mandatory to have a Merchant with Overcharge available. The bonus from that skill makes a huge difference when your feat is completed.

0.2: Basic Zeny Areas

These are areas that a novice could go to with no equipment / basic equipment. They are accessible and reliable ways of acquiring money, though they may not be the most effective. The good thing about these areas is the scarceness of other players on the map, as well as the fact you can go there after leveling a bit and expect to profit.

0.21: Desert Wolves

Required Class(es): Whitesmith; Assassin Cross; TaeKwon
- Whitesmiths have an advantage with their Pull Cart Skill (highly recommended)
Required Base Level: 60+
Monster(s) of Interest: Desert Wolf
Best Hunting Maps: ve_fild04 (60)
Weaknesses: ATK + Water Element
Item(s) of Interest: Stiletto [3]; Katar [2]; Mink Coat [1]; Desert Wolf Card
Bonus(es): Meat restores a decent amount of HP (use while hunting to avoid returning to town); Rough Oridecon = Easy Pure Oridecons; Claw of Desert Wolf is a prerequisite for several different Headgear Quests

Desert Wolves is perhaps a very old, outdated way of earning money. By using a class with a lot of STR (therefore, higher weight capabilities), you can take advantage of their mediocre DEF, their low HP, and their weakness to the endowable (and easy-to-find) Water Element. You can earn a decent amount of Zeny in a short period of time, and the level requirement is low enough that you can start here early.

0.22: Gonryun Dungeon 01

Required Class(es): Sniper
Required Base Level: 70+
Monster(s) of Interest: Zipper Bear; Enchanted Peach Tree
Best Hunting Maps: gon_dun01 (30 Zipper Bear; 35 Enchanted Peach Tree)
Weaknesses: ATK + Holy Element (Zipper Bear); ATK + Fire Element (Enchanted Peach Tree)
Item(s) of Interest: Royal Jelly; Zipper Bear Card
Bonus(es): Honey is a useful SP recovery item; Dead Branches and Old Blue Box appeal to some individuals; Black Bear Skin is used to create the TeddyBear Hat

Again, another older but effective way to make money. By swapping out elemental arrows, it's easy to acquire en masse Royal Jellies, and even pick up a few Zipper Bear Cards along the way (useful card for Whitesmiths.) As well, the dungeon is very close to the central Kafra in Gonrun; therefore, even if your Sniper becomes overweight, it is very easy to return to Gonryun / @go Gonryun and deposit the items into the Kafra, and then return to the dungeon itself. It's convenient, it's quick, and it's reliable.

0.23: Wild Roses

Required Class(es): Sniper; Gypsy; Clown
Required Base Level: 60+
Monster(s) of Interest: Wild Rose
Best Hunting Maps: gef_fild05 (50)
Weaknesses: ATK + Earth Element
Item(s) of Interest: Witherless Rose
Bonus(es): Dustiness on the same map has a valuable Card

Wild Roses have been an easy method of money for a while. Long-Range is very important here - a Sniper can easily one-hit KO these fast-moving, passive enemies with a Double Strafing (same for Gypsies and Clowns) with the right equipment. Even lacking equipment, however, these cats are easy to kill, and they drop the coveted Witherless Rose (which, lucky for Snipers, weighs next to nothing!) High Flee is also important to avoid being critically damaged by their Sonic Blow; again, the Archer classes are perfect for this hunting environment.

0.24: Mavkas

Required Class(es): Sniper; Assassin Cross (linked with EDP)
Required Base Level: 80+
Monster(s) of Interest: Mavka
Best Hunting Maps: mosk_dun03 (15)
Weaknesses: ATK + Fire Element
Item(s) of Interest: Witherless Rose; Crystal Mirror
Bonus(es): Blue Herbs are good SP-healing items that are also useful for Creators

Mavkas are on the higher end of the Basic spectrum. Their entourage is tougher, and they do require the basic Burning Bow + Scorpion Cards to deal adequate damage. Unlike everything else in this category, they also harbour a higher DEF (32 compared to 0) and therefore require more Double Strafings to kill. A linked Assassin Cross with EDP is able to OHKO Mavkas; however, their short-range proves difficult when trying to monopolize the map from other players. Again, Witherless Roses and Crystal Mirrors weigh practically nothing and are therefore very Sniper-friendly. It is very important to have Fly Wings on this map due to the surrounding monsters' ability to spam Water Ball, instantly killing you.

Mavkas also take some time to spawn, and this should be taken into account when calculating efficiency.

0.3: Intermediate Zeny Areas

These areas require experience, skill, and equipment to hunt in. They are either very mobby maps or just tougher in comparison to the basic areas. It is important to understand the target monsters' weaknesses and to exploit them effectively, if possible. Otherwise, it will be very difficult for a player to profit in the following areas.

0.31: Juperos

Required Class(es): Whitesmith; Assassin Cross
Required Base Level: 80+
Monster(s) of Interest: Venatu
Best Hunting Maps: juperos_01
Weaknesses: Not Exploitable
Item(s) of Interest: Crest Piece
Bonus(es): Steel is interesting for crafting with Whitesmiths; Elunium is universally useful; Professional Cooking Kit is the 2nd-best Kit and easier to acquire than the Royal Cooking Kits; Venatu Card can be useful for AGI&LUK builds (i.e. Dodge Assassin)

Juperos are difficult for two reasons: they don't take a lot of damage, and their elemental weaknesses are extremely hard to exploit. There are four different kinds of Venatus (target monster) on the map, and it's difficult to distinguish which is of which element, and it's very scroll-consuming to have to change to these new elements at every attack. It is also impossible to mob if you're trying to exploit these elemental weaknesses due to conflicting with other types of Venatus. If you have the right equipment i.e. high ATK and more damage to Medium-sized monsters, this area could be useful for making money in a short period of time; however, without the right build and equipment, it's too difficult for a novice to exploit the area and profit effectively.

Assassin Crosses are able to Grimtooth and mob via the neutral element; this method can be useful, but again requires the right equipment to be efficient.

0.4: Advanced Zeny Areas

These areas require the right equipment, the right build, and the right environment to be effective. A novice should not attempt these areas unless guided by a large group of peers. These areas are highly profitable and if exploited properly, will allow a player to roll in dough after a short period of time.

0.41: Nameless Island

Required Class(es): TaeKwon (to solo); Creator; Group Play
Required Base Level: 90+
Monster(s) of Interest: Banshee; Ragged Zombie
Best Hunting Maps: abbey_01 (93 Banshee; 33 Ragged Zombie); abbey02 (70 Ragged Zombie)
Weaknesses: ATK + Holy Element
Item(s) of Interest: Wool Scarf; Tidal Shoes; Expert Ring [1]; Orlean's Gown [1]; Mes [3]
Bonus(es): Flame Skull drops Black Leather Boot (useful when slotted); Flame Skull Card is a useful anti-status barrier

The only effective and safe way of soloing Nameless Island is to have a high Flee- and high ATK-output Ranked TaeKwon with around 16,000HP and the right equipment and elemental armour to-boot. Banshee can't do anything against said TaeKwon and the damage output when Holy kicks are spammed allow for the 30k-HP monster to be killed in (on average) 3-4 seconds. It is also possible to mob with such a TaeKwon without requiring HP healing items; contrarily, you'll require SP items as you'll find that your SP will depleat extremely fast due to the amount of kicks required to kill the monsters.

Creators are also effective here with the right equipment. Obviously, if you storm Nameless in a large party, it's extremely effective and will allow for better results over time (though you may have to share the spoils.)

0.42: MVPs

Required Class(es): Champion; Paladin; Creator; Group Play
Required Base Level: 90+
Monster(s) of Interest: Assassin Cross Eremes; Satan Maroc; Hard Rock Mammoth; Ifrit; Valkyrie Randgris; etc.
Best Hunting Maps: Vary
Weaknesses: Vary
Item(s) of Interest: Ice Pick; Diabolus Set; Bone Head; Ring of Resonance; Ring of Flame Lord; Cards; Valkyrie Set; etc.

These are just examples of items that MVPs may drop that are valued by the community. By defeating MVPs, you can acquire and monopolize these equipment, which can be especially valuable if properly refined. Most MVP/Mini-Boss Cards are extremely valuable (see: Maya Purple, Golden Thief Bug, Tao Gunka) and are coveted and sought by most of the community for huge advantages in PvP/WoE/etc. Obviously, it is an MVPers goal to acquire these items and either retain them for their own use, or to sell them for a huge profit.

MVPs require equipment i.e. Abysmal Knight Cards to be killed effectively and efficiently. By having a stronger damage output, you can defeat these MVPs faster and easier, allowing for faster respawning and the chance of rarer items i.e. cards to be dropped - for you, hopefully!

0.5: Conclusion

There are many, many different areas you can venture into in order to make Zeny; not all are listed in this guide. This is just a sample so that new adventurers can benefit.

Feel free to add thoughts below, should you know of more areas, or methods of improvement.

Vanilmirth Leveling Guide

Are you having a hard time choosing where to gain experience and level for your Homunculus Vanilmirth? I can give you some maps where you can gain a decent experience with your Vanilmirth.

Level 1-10: You can level up on spore and poporing on payon field without even monitoring your character. Make sure you have a good working AI for homunculus. If you want to level up more fast, you can attack wolf but be ready to bring lots of red or orange potions.

Level 11-40: You can level up on wolf. I like to gain level on wolf for reason that wolf assist other wolf when attacking. They will mob you vanilmirth and this effect will limit the time for hunting monsters.

Level 41-70: At this stage, there are a lot of monster that your Homunculus Vanilmirth can attack. This include zenorc, metalling, orc skeleton.. etc.

Level 70-99: At this level, you can gain experience on High Orc or on Moscovia Field. Or you could still stay on orc dungeon. That is what I did, I stayed on orc dungeon til my vanil reached 99. Zenorcs spawn faster and this a small map.

AzzyAI for Private Servers

I was a big fan of Creator – game character with special pet : homunculus and I can use my favorite AI to control it. But somehow, now everything has change – old-skool AI doesn’t work at all at pre-renewal ragnarok client. And there is no AI (yet) for *cough* private servers.
AI in action! :)
This AI is based on AzzyAI version 1.541 (released at January 26th, 2014) including fix to make it works at private servers based on eAthena/rAthena – so it should be works fine at *cough* private servers. Ragnarok Pure Forger Guide

Apakah forging dan kenapa harus dilakukan?
Forging pada dasarnya membuat suatu senjata dari 1 (atau beberapa) item digabungkan. Forging hanya dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan Blacksmith player. Tidak ada NPC yang dapat melakukan forging, ataupun dengan class lainnya selain Blacksmith. Jika kalian ingin melakukan forge senjata, carilah Blacksmith dengan base level yang tinggi dengan LUK dan DEX yang memadai. Hal ini dikarenakan forging senjata sangat beresiko! Forging tidak selamanya berhasil, dan kabar buruknya jika forging gagal adalah kalian akan kehilangan semua bahan yang digunakan. Termasuk Oridecon dan Batu Elemental ^^;

 NameMaxEffect
Flame Heart1Memberi elemen "Api" pada senjata.

Note : "Perfect piercing" akan SELALU memberikan damage sebanyak 5 point. (10 point jika menggunakan 2 Star Crumb, dan 15 jika menggunakan 3)
